Multi-day birding tours are for birders who wish to focus on western and southern South Africa’s endemic and near-endemic bird species. These birding tours can be customized for individuals and small groups of up to three guests, ensuring that each tour aligns with your target species and available dates. Both tours depart from and return to Cape Town.

 

1. The wonders of the Cape  ( 5 days)

Cape Peninsula, West Coast, Overberg, Southern Overberg

A  birding journey that runs from the Berg River estuary, north of Cape Town on the Cape west coast , via the heartland of the Cape , the Cape Peninsula, all the way to Cape Agulhas in the Southern Overberg , where we stay at the famous De Hoop nature reserve and discover the treasures of the Overberg region.

Join me on a magical journey through my home province in South Africa, the Western Cape. We start our birding tour in Cape Town , then make our way up the West Coast, before traversing the arid Karoo and finally down to the east coast and all the way to the indigenous forests of the Garden Route. a Once in a lifetime trip full of unbelievable bird life and landscapes.
